Life Group Lunches - Henley Beach

I truly enjoy my life group Sunday lunches with my besties. Not to mention all those great themes and ideas they come up with. The recent one was held in Henley beach where it was my turn to prepare the lunch with some friends in my life group. So yea, the theme that was basically made up by me was - Support. Indeed, without it, we are nothing, everything and everyone support us in our lives right?

We made Nomads Special Burger which consist of egg, tomato, iceberg lettuce, chicken or beef patties, cheese and of course buns!

Comes with choices of wholemeal or plain buns. Great idea huh? :DD

Played the umbrella support game! Got ourselves wet. Super fun! It was like both teams need to play paper scissors rock and who lose the team will be splashed by water but then this is when the umbrella comes into action! So funnehh!! :3

Delicious Dessert

I just came back from this dessert place called Delicious Dessert in North Adelaide because I've got a voucher from Living Social website where theres 2 desserts+ 2 drinks for $10. I know it was a long time since I blogged but oh well, I'm sorry :D haha! *back to topic* It was quite worth trying but but but...delicious just defeats the whole name. In fact, everything is super sweet and now I can't sleep because of my sugar rush.

These are the desserts that I ate. Can't even finish them all, I do not recommend other people to come to this dessert place since it's so expensive and not really that good anyway.

The Chocolate Fondue - I wished there's strawberries instead of those stuff. +_+

The second dessert - 3 ice cream choice on the big waffle. This taste better than the one above. 

I can't really give much compliments because I think that there's a lot to improve. The menu. The environment. The food. The presentation. The people. The price. The location. The..omgosh..Am I too harsh or what? :S I really do expect a lot from these dessert places that I go to. Nahh, don't say that I'm fussy because there are really good ones around Adelaide to compare to. So, yea, if possible, this is not the place you're looking for. Full stop. =P

CCCream

BB Creams are trending in the US and Korea at the moment and you’ll probably see more to come. So far Smashbox, MAC, and Boscia have introduced BB Creams stateside with a special appearance by Korean brand name, Dr. Jart exclusively at Sephora.

BB Creams have been toned down a bit for the US market but the concept remains the same in some aspects. A creamy base product to flatter many skin tones that offers sun protection and a flawless finish that evens out skin tone. Whitening benefits, pigmentation, and some anti-aging benefits are missing from US versions but hopefully we catch up sometime soon to our Asian friends in the market.

Now that BB Creams are on the rise here what comes next?

That would be CC Creams or Color Control Creams. What’s a CC Cream? It’s the next generation BB Cream.

CC cream is simply an improved version of a BB Cream. It offers pretty much the same benefits as a BB Cream including whitening, moisturizing, sun protection, and skin repair.

Where as BB Creams offer all these same options CC Creams promise a lighter texture with a non-oily formula (and in some cases a matte finish) plus some will have Vitamin C for better brightening and whitening abilities. CC Creams promise to have a lighter texture with more nourishing ingredients offering a beefed up formula with the ability to repair problem skin better than BB Creams.

CC Creams mainly contain White tea extracts, Green Tea Leaf Extracts, Hyaluronic Acid, Mineral Powder, Macadamia Extracts, Deep Sea Water, Aloe leaf Extracts, and Natural Vitamin E etc...

So it basically provides sun protection, hydration, agents to help soothe and calm skin, anti-aging elements, plus a long lasting formula.

I haven’t personally played with any CC Creams yet and if you have experience using them or heard of them.

10 things that makes me feel most disgusted.

1. Opening up the toilet cover and found out that there's *@&( and someone haven't flushed.

Probably they really need this kind of toilet seats in Australia or Malaysia.

Saw this in Korea and fell in love with it. <3

2. Someone saying "ewww, that's so disgusting, I will never buy it" and the next thing you know, he's / she's wearing it to prom.

3. Bringing me to cinema/home and wants me to watch ghost/horror movie with him/her.

4. Smoking beside me I still might be able to accept it, throwing the cigarette bud to the ground step it and walk away w-t-h. Pollute air and land, worst ever.

5. Say they will turn up and indeed they did. Not without even informing beforehand, worse if after.

6. Using fingernails to press against a glass, that sound is really annoying and disgusting.

7.  Guys insulting each other but don't really mean it, still acceptable.  Woman complimenting each other but they never mean it, disgusted. Why not just smile and keep quiet right?

8. Why is there only 24 hours a day. I wish there's more.

9. This normally applies to girls. Saying themselves fat when they're actually so thin. Whilst this applies to guys, saying themselves fit when they're actually fat, and blames the gf or wife.

10. Don't appreciate what others did for them, not even a thank you.

What makes you disgusted anyway? =O

Bring on the heat

I'm glad it's getting hotter these days. It had been a super windy and rainy week last week.
To update what I've done/about to be done in this week so far.

1. Won the O-hunt this time 1st runner up and got a hamper with flight vouchers. *again* (yawns =P)
2. Got sick and now still in recovering period.
3. Failed to make my doughnuts because was sick today. (Is this counted? lol)
4. Still on the process of making something for Father's day.
5. Bought a Jean blouse in LIVE that I've always wanted for $9.
6. Celebrated a birthday party in a super delicious *Arabian* restaurant Charlene's birthday yesterday with another 10 buddies.
7. Have completed two tests and one assignment coming up.

Pretty much that's what I did. Was too tired to blog that much lately but I will probably if there's something interested happen throughout my week. Keep reading kayyys?

Judge a book by its cover. Judge a person by their looks.

Never do it. Not every human is predictable.

Today when I was at work. There was this couple. You know, they're both heavy smokers and wore not-so-elegant clothings. So, have you heard of walk-away customers? We thought they weren't going to pay their bill from the way it seems. They ordered this restaurant "special" fried rice and then said that they can't finish and pass it back to us. We thought they're not going to pay for it apparently just a serve of that costs around $8 bucks. They were our last customer and lucky enough they did pay their bill. Not to mention, even gave us more than it should be. Tips I guess. =) The guy even said that he will bring 30 of his friends next week, believe it or not? 30?? HTW. Anyways, I really learn not to judge anyone from their cover before I know them well. Apparently, I heard he owns some sort of property/ business/shop thingy and I tell you what, really  reminds me over and over not to predict someone so easily. There is more to see than our naked eye. Thus, my friend's sister quote in the picture above. Judging a person does not define who they are but who WE ARE. Enough said.

Since I've been on a baking marathon recently. How can I not post about food? =9
Here are some blueberry muffins that I made just today. They turned out quite well thanks to my good friend's recipe :) Her mom's and her secret recipe and she passed it to me. Naww SOOOoo SWEET RIGHT?

It was quite easy with just simple ingredients. Of course, I was silly enough to buy real blueberries which costs me that price of the (fried rice) above which weighs about only 1 cup. Ever heard of pictures speak louder than words? No? Then good, just remember I invented this phrase then. =P

 I love how the inside looks like. Wished I added bits of lil' cream cheezeee chunks.

Hungry complain, Full also complain!

We often forget how blessed we are. Too hungry we complain, too full ALSO COMPLAIN?!
I didn't eat dinner today instead I went to eat dessert in Eggless in replacement. Of course, you must be thinking why do we always go to Eggless and eat dessert, NOT SIEN MEH? right? Reason is that they're about to close for months in search for a new dessert menu so we grab our bags all the way there to eat for the "last" time. Hehe =3

Of course, I ordered Baileymisu and Hot Chai Chocolate. What to do, was very hungry at first marrr :P

 This was so-so, really just taste like normal tiramisu. Still their green tea tiramisu cake the best, *winkwink* I know someone ask me to buy for birthday already horrrr?? LOL <3

They drew a love for me how sweet! :)  Apparently this is our favourite dessert shop because first their portion is big and secondly they change menu every single month and last of all its quite affordable and close to city. Last but not least, the owner is a Malaysian! I bet all Malaysian chinese are quite successful business man/woman here in Australia. I might even consider to open on coffeeTIAM here right? rofl!

Next topic that I want to blog about is the size of our body and the clothes that fit. (too random huh? :P) but I like. ;)
